Youth Focused Programming

The Vortex Bay Area offers holistic enrichment for students, blending movement, sound, art, drama, and science. Our creative programs nurture emotional well-being, spark imagination, and support sensory exploration.

Programs include:

Music & Movement – Children explore rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through playful movement and sound using scarves, hula hoops, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, drums, and other percussion instruments. Group jam sessions foster collaboration and joyful community music creation.

Science of Sound & Smell – A hands-on class where students engage in simple experiments exploring sound frequencies and essential oils, learning how vibrations and scents impact the body and mind.

Art & Sound – Nature-inspired, intuitive art sessions paired with sound healing instruments. Children create freely while immersed in the calming tones of crystal bowls, chimes, and drums.

Creative Drama – Through guided storytelling, imaginative role-play, and theatrical expression, students build confidence, empathy, and communication skills in a fun, supportive environment.
